Photoshoot Locations When You Work From Home
More and more of the people I meet and photograph are working from home. Maybe you’re launching a new venture, maybe you’re adding on a side hustle, or maybe working remotely suits your lifestyle more than having a fixed space. With so many people working from home these days, I’m often asked the question,
“I want branding photos, but my work space at home is not presentable. What can we do?!”
This is a fun and strategic problem to solve! Together, we’ll talk about what you do and the feel of your brand. I know lots of great photoshoot locations around Western Sydney, Hawkesbury and Penrith that are great for us to get the content you need to elevate your brand.
Recently, I met with Nick Jones of Catman Consulting. We were able to find lots of local photoshoot locations in the local Penrith area, that represent his brand and were able to build an excellent library of content for his website and LinkedIn presence.
One great option for indoor branding photoshoot location is a shared workspace. These images were taken at Wotso Penrith and it’s great to get the feeling of an office environment if you don’t have one of your own. A bonus if you expect to meet with clients here as it adds authenticity and familiarity to the customer experience when the time comes. If you can bring a friend along on photoshoot day, it’s also great to get an extra layer of human interaction and connection. These kind of images are easy for your audience to connect with and great for building credibility.
By using different Sydney photoshoot locations, or places in your local area, we’re able to get a business feel whilst still remaining relaxed and approachable. We’ll also be sure to get a range of indoor and outdoor options, both are great for marketing uses such as on your website, or any materials you may choose to produce along the way. Location isn’t the only thing we’ll change. A different outfit will add range to your library of images. The images will not look like they were created just minutes after each other, extending the life and usability of your branded content, while still standing cohesive and professional.
Lastly, don’t underestimate the power of ‘normal’ outdoor settings. All we need is a cool wall, a nice cafe or a set of stairs to create the kind of images that suit your brand.
